BONITA ELERY INTERVIEW- REAL FUNNY LADY
Where are you from?
The south originally What got you into the business in the first place? I have always been a creative person whether it was drawing writing cooking etc. and I was in a few plays in high school, but I went to college for graphic design. It wasn't until I moved to NYC 6 years ago and took one acting class and I was hooked and realized I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. Do you have any inspirations or idols that made you want to get into this business? Have you ever heard someone say I'd rather have a bad at fishing than a good day at work? Well I want to be in charge of my career and my happiness and acting is my career and it makes me very happy. My idol is my mom. She the strongest person I know and she laid the foundation for me and I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for my mother. Who have been you favourite actors to work with? I am still a newbie in this game but so far it would have to Connor Fox who played my new boss in Terminal B. Not only is he a talented actor but funny and down to earth. He reminds me of why I got in the biz in the first place. Do you have a project you would really like to be involved in? Specific director? franchise? I love indie movies and I would love to work with director Ted Hope. What projects are you currently working on? Just finished working on a short film Chips off the Block where I played a mother who lost her son to the streets. I am also part of an improv troupe and we perform improv and sketches we write every week. Where can we learn more about you? heresbonita.com my website and also on twitter @Actress_Bonita |
